Review for The Marriage Game by Fern Michaels
Rating: 4 Stars!!
Review:
This book was VERY Hard to settle on a definate rating since i had a few issues with it wish i'll explain more below BUT To be Fair, Fern's Books are ALWAYS A MISS for me with ONLY 1 ive really enjoyed.
As i began this book i didnt expect The Twist to happen at The Beginning of The Book which for me i think took away My Excitement to fully enjoy this book which is why i had to knock off 1 and a half points from this rating.
WHY Start a Book off with Newlyweds get Home from their Honeymoon and The Bride finds ALREADY SIGNED Divorce Papers from her Husband?! Like WHO in their right mind does that?!
I feel like that SHOULDNT of been revealed til THE MIDDLE of The Book which made this book feel BERY RUSHED.
The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Samantha was definately My Favorite with her determination to find out WHY her Husband filed for Divorce. Like if it were me i'd want to find out to cause i dont get why someone would do that.
The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in California while reading especially when the scenery was described.
Overall an OK Contemporary Romance but could of been better. I will read more by Fern in the future but i hope her other books arent like this one was.

This was My First time reading a Historical Fiction Novel by Silvia so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i enjoyed this one more then i thought i would.
The Book was about Maite, A Politicians Secretary who helps Local Detective Elvis El Mang solve her friend's murder in June 1971 Mexico.
