Hello, June!!

   πŸ–πŸ–πŸ– Hello June!! πŸ–πŸ–πŸ–
Can you believe it, we are in our last Month of Spring and almost to Summer, hard to believe really!!  Im looking forward to it tho since last summer i couldnt enjoy it much since My Dad was recovering from Severe Pancreatitis and Strokes in 4 different Hospitals last summer (As most of you know he sadly passed away on November 7th 2021 not related to his illness).

On to Book News:
Yesterday i received a message from Ashlee @Booksare42 from Instagram  and Twitter in  connection with BBNYA asking me if i'd like to join their group and chat as a panalist, i gladly said YES so that's the BIGGEST News on my end this month.

In Reading News, This is the first time in 4 1/2 years im NOT Doing a TBR Challenge with my online book club mainly because the one they are doing this month looks too complicated to me so i decided to do a layed back reading by using WheelofNames.com to help pick my next reads for June. Pictured at the top is my June TBR and below it is a pic of the Wheel i created for myself for this month!!

I will be doing The Yearly Reading Challenge and a couple Read a thons but that's about it.

What will you be reading this month?! What reading Challenges will you be partisipating in this month?! What about a Yearly Reading Challenge?! Let me know in the comments below.

Review for Save the Date by Mary Kay Andrews

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book by Mary Kay Andrews so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed this one very much.

The Characters were so funny and interesting to read about. Cara and Ryan were my favorites.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was really in Charleston. I loved how The Romance didnt overtake The Contemporary aspect of the story.

Overall a really good Contemporary Romance!! If you dont like Romance then this one is for you since it's more Contemporary!! Can't wait to read more by Mary in the future!!

Review for A Picture of Hope by Liz Tolsma

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Barbour Publishing's Review Crew for picking me to receive this FREE ARC COPY to review for them last year!!

This was my first time reading a book by Liz Tolsma so i wasnt sure what to expect but since it's a Historical Fiction set during World War 2, i kind of had a feeling i'd enjoy it since Historical Fiction is my Go-To Genre.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Nellie and Claire were my favorites especially learning about Claire's background since she was a Mongoloid (Down Syndrome) and the history about the name in The 1940s.

The Setting was very well described which made me feel like i was actually in Normandy France 1944.

Overall a Phenomenal Historical Fiction Book about WW2!! Can't wait to read more by Liz in the future!!

Review for The Beach House by James Patterson

 Rating: 3 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book by James Patterson so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i sadly didnt enjoy this as much as i thought i would.

The Characters were interesting to read about. None of them were very likeable.

The Setting was okay but not very descriptive as i would of liked.

Sadly the book didnt get good til Chapter 17 which was shortlived to Part 5 when it became very descriptive but mainly about The Case and not much about what happened to the main character.

Overall an OK Mystery but ive read better!! I dont know if i'll ever read more by James in the future if all his books are like this!!

Review of Live by Sadie Robertson

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This is the 3rd book ive read by Sadie so i kind of knew what to expect since ive read her other 2 books, Live Original and Live Fearless.

This book was no exception to the other 2. Alot of what was talked about in this one i could relate to on so many levels especially talked about how we react, say and think in today's world and what problems life throws at us.

Overall another Phenomenal Book in this Live Series by Sadie!! Can't wait to read more by her in the future!!

Review for Dress Rehearsal by Jennifer O'Connell

 Rating: 4 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a Romance Book by this author so i wasnt sure what to expect.

The Characters were interesting to read about tho the back and forth conversation between each character was very confusing to follow especially when it wasnt conistantly written.

The Setting was interesting to read about especially since it's set in Boston, Massachusetts whish is a city ive always wanted to visit so when it was described i felt like i was there while reading.

Overall a Good Contemporary Romance BUT i wish it was written better then it was. I will read more by Jennifer in the future but this one just wasnt for me.

Review for The Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh

 Rating: 3 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book by Amitav Ghosh so i wasnt sure what to expect.

The Characters were interesting to read about. It was hard to pronounce some of the names since it was mainly set in India.

The Setting was my favorite since it was mainly set in Britain during The Invasion in Burma 1885 which made me feel like i was actually there while reading.

Overall, as a First Time Reader it was OK for me, it didnt pull me in til Chapter 15 since the first half was kind of boring and repetitive to me.

I will explore more by him in the future but this one im not a big fan of.

Review for Well, Matched (Well, Met #3) by Jen DeLuca

Rating: 3 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Berkley Romance for picking me to win this FREE ARC COPY in a Giveaway on their Website last year!!

I probably would of liked this book a little more and finished it sooner if i hadnt had a busy week of Mowing Lawn and Doing Yardwork but that happens in life sometimes.

The Characters were enjoyable to read about. I loved Mitch and April they really seemed perfect for each other.

The Setting was enjoyable as well and made me feel like i was actually in Willow Creek while reading.

I enjoyed this Book til Chapter 12 then i found out that this book really wasnt my liking.

Overall an OK Contemporary Romance but not one of my Top 5 Favorites. I will read more by Jen in the future but this one just wasnt for me.

Review for Rest, Girl by Jami Amerine

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Barbour Publishing Review Crew for picking me to receive this FREE ARC COPY to review for them last year!! This was the 2nd book ive read by Jami and i have to say she is definately becoming my NEW Favorite Self-Help Author.

This book was so informative about feeling Exhausted and Stressed when Daily Life becomes overwhelming.

I thought it was very written with helpful sections especially Chapter 4 about Death and Grief since i lost My Dad 5 1/2 Months Ago so im still dealing with Grief and Understanding the emotions that come with it so this part of the book was VERY Informative to me especially the part about writing down in a journal about putting on paper over in our head.

Overall a Phenomenal Non-Fiction/Self-Help Book by Jami!! Can't wait to read more by her in the future!!

Review for Come Back to Me (Waters of Time #1) by Jody Hedlund

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Revell for sending me this FREE ARC COPY to review for them last year!!

This was my first time reading a Book/Series by Jody so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i loved this book so much with Time Travel and Science Fiction all in 1 book  i think is why i enjoyed this one the whole time.

The Characters were so interesting to read about, i could relate to Marian and Ellen so much especially with how they felt about their father's passing.

The Setting was unique going from 2021 to Middle Ages which i think is why i loved the Time Travel aspect of this so much!!

Overall a Phenomenal Book 1 in this Science Fiction Series!! Can't wait to read Book 2 in this series soon!!

Review for Run Rose Run by Dolly Parton and James Patterson

Rating: 3.5 Stars!!  Review:  This was only the 2nd Novel ive read by James Patterson and while this one was better then "The Beach...
