Review for The Hobbit (Prequel to The Lord of The Rings #0) by JRR Tolkein

May be an image of text
Read n 2005,2010, 2015, 2019 and 2024.
Per My Original Review i still feel the same way about this book.
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
No Spoilers are in this Review for this who HAVENT Read it yet!!

This is My 2nd time reading it. Last time i was in 9th or 10th Grade so My Perspective of this has changed some since then.

I still love this book!! Last Time i read it, it was a little boring to me since i had to write a book report about it back then but this time it was so much fun to read. The Adventures, Drama, Funniness and Suspense of it was all there,

I felt bad for Bilbo at times when he was picked on by some of the characters etc.

If you love Fantasy and are a fan of JRR this is a must read for you!! I wish this book would of been continued in a series by itself away from Lord of The Rings.

May be an image of 3 people and text

Per My Original Review, I still feel the same way about this Classic by Jane Austen.
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was only the 3rd time ive read Pride and Prejudice but i still enjoyed it as much as i did the first 2 times ive read it.

The Characters are still so fun and enjoyable to read about. Elizabeth Bennett is still My Favorite mainly because i can relate to her character so much.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Classic by Jane!! Can't wait to read more by her in the future!!

Review for The Rana Look by Sandra Brown

May be an image of text
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was only the 2nd Romance and 3rd Novel ive read by Sandra but i have to say this one was ALOT better then the last Romance i read by her.

This one  reminded me alot of "Breakfast  at Tiffany's" with Audrey Hepburn.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Rana, Ruby and Trent were definately my favorites for different reasons:
Rana because she fully embraced her Natural Beauty without Makeup which i think ALL Women should do since that's how God intended us to be.

Ruby for her straightforward advice and comments without holding anything back.

Trent was abit childish in the beginning but im glad her mellowed out in Chapter 3.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Texas while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Romance!! Can't wait to  read more by Sandra in the future!!

Review for Midnight Angel (Stokehurst #1) by Lisa Kleypas

May be an image of text
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was only the 2nd Novel ive read by Lisa so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed this one more then i thought i would especially since the spine and first page of this book didnt come off as CLEAN Romance but it surprised me by being very CLEAN Written.

This book definately gave off "The Sound of Music" Vibes.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Miss Billings was definately my favorite since she reminded me alot of The Governess in "The Sound of Music" minus the singing.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1870 St Petersburg Russia and London England while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Wonderfully Written Book 1 in this Historical Romance Series!! Can't wait to read Book 2 soon!!

Review for Villette by Charlotte Bronte

May be an image of 1 person, heart and text that says 'VIKING CLASSICS VILLETTE Charlotte BrontΓ« Complete, Unabridged 1853 Special Edition PIC.COLLAGE'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to My Cousin for suggesting this book as our Winter Buddy Read this year. Honestly if it wasnt for the suggestion i probably wouldnt of picked this up on My Own but with that being said i throughly indulged and enjoyed this book so much.

This was only the 2nd Novel ive read by Charlotte Bronte and i have to say i liked this one ALOT better then i did "Jane Eyre" for a couple of reasons:
1) The Male Main Characters were more enjoyable.
2) This one seemed to be written better.

I loved that this story was based off of a Real Life Event that Charlotte and her Sisters went through in the Mid 1800s.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Lucy and Graham were definately my favorites and a Small Part of me even shipped them at times.

For the most part i liked all the characters expect for one, Paulina "Polly". From the time she got to Villette she acted like a spoiled brat and even tho she got better in her Teens and Adult Years  i could not bring myself to like her because of her actions as a young child were uncalled for.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually at Villette in London England while reading, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Beautifully Written Classic about Children in a Group Home in the 1800s!! Cna't wait to read more by Charlotte in the future!!

Review for Black Rose (In the Garden #2) by Nora Roberts

May be an image of text that says 'FIRST TIME IN PRINT NORA 50c that this new work The fficia Nora Roberts seal guara SALE ROBERTS BLack ROSE Book Two Bok the In of Trilogy PIC.COLLAGE'
Rating: 4 Stars!!
Review:
Even tho this was only the 2nd Novel  ive read in this series by Nora i was really hoping i'd like this one as much as i did Book 1 "Blue Dahlia" but sadly this one wasnt up to Par as i thought it'd be.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Stella and Roselind "Roz" were definately my favorites especially since Book 1 didnt tell much about Roz's background.

The Setting was beautifully which made me feel like i was actually in 1862 and 2004 Memphis Tennessee especially when the scenery was described of Memphis and The Harper House.

Overall a Good Book 2 in this Romance Series tho i wish it had more Historical Aspect to it like Book 1 did.

Can't wait to see how the story continues with Book 3 soon!!

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was only the 3rd or 4th Series ive read by Nora so i wasnt sure what to expect with this one but i have to said i absolutely loved this one.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Stella and Amelia were definately my favorites especially when they were dealing with Grief after losing a loved one.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Book 1 in this Garden Series. Can't wait to read Book 2 soon!!

Even tho this was only the 2nd Novel ive read in this series and by Gary i have to say this one kept me on the edge of my seat and had me add "Mistaken Identity" to my Favorite Tropes List.

The Characters were interesting and intriguing to read about. It was hard to pick a favorite since i seemed to like all the characters even tho they had good and bad qualities to them.

The Setting was wonderfully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Book 2 in this Medical Thriller Series. Can't wait to read Book 3 when it comes out!!

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to BooksForward for hosting this book's tour last week and for the FREE Complimentary EBook to promote and review for Gary L Stuart.

This was my first time reading a Thriller by Gary let alone in a series and about a Case of Mistaken Identity no less. This story really reminded me alot of the 90s Soap Opera Storyline about Sheila Carter on Y&R and B&B. (If You know then YOU KNOW!!)

The Characters were interesting to read about. I really felt for The Main Characters especially when he was mistaken for his Twin who potentially committed Murder.

The Setting was wonderfully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Book 1 in this Medical Thriller Series. Can't wait to read Book 2 soon!!

Review for On Folly Beach by Karen White

May be an image of text
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a Historical Fiction by Karen White so i wasnt sure what to expect especially since the cover gave off Contemporary Romance Vibes and not Historical Fiction Vibes so this book's setting and Genre was a nice surprise.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Emmy was definately my favorite especially after she bought Folly's Books and discovered old letters from WW2 where she was determined to uncover the mystery behind them.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 2009 Nobleville, Indiana and 1942 Folly Beach, South Carolina while reading especially when the scenery was described.

I do wish this was part of a series cause i'd love to see what other mysteries Emmy uncovers in Folly's Books from WW2.

Overall a Phenomenally Written Historical Fiction. Can't wait to read more by Karen in the future!!

Review for The Caretaker by Ron Rash

May be an image of text
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Doubleday Books for picking me to win this FREE Hardcover Copy in a giveaway in their Email Newsletter last month.

This was my first time reading a Historical Fiction/Korean War Novel by Ron so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say it left me feeling intrigued and in shock so many times while reading it.

I found this book and story so intriguing because My Grandpa (My Mom's Dad) served in The Marines during The Korean War and since this was the first Korean War Novel ive ever read i ended up loving it so much more then i expected.

The Characters were interesting to read about. Jacob and Naomi were definately my favorites not just because of the special connection they had but also because i really felt for them since both of their parents forbid them from being together all because Jacob joined The Army during The Korean War and then when they lied about Naomi and Annie Mae's death like WHAT?! Why would someone do that?!

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1951 Blowing Rock, North Carolina while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenally Heartwretching Historical Fiction Novel Set during The Korean War. I do wish this was part of a series because i'd love to see how Jacob, Naomi and Annie Mae did through the 50s, 60s 70s etc.

Can't wait to read more by Ron in the future!!

Review:
Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for hosting this book's tour last month and for the FREE EBook to promote and review for Joanne.

This was my first time reading a Thriller by Joanne i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed this one mainly because it reminded me alot of a Lifetime Mystery Movie meets Freeform's Pretty Little Liars and Cruel Summer especially since this book had me on the edge of my seat most of the time.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Carrie was definately my favorite especially when she was so straight forward with Mia about her feelings about Sebastian.

The Setting was wonderfully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described which Mia was walking down the sidewalk in the Dark.

I do wish this book was part of a series cause i'd love if Book 2 was about Carrie or a story from her point of view.

Rating: 4.5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Rachel's Random Resources for hosting this book's tour last month and for the FREE EBook to promote and review for Amanda.

This was my first time reading a Thriller by Amanda so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say for the most part this one was OK. I just didnt care for Blythe's story being dragged out in so many chapters.

The Characters were fun and interesting to read about. Marnie was defiantely my favorite even tho i didnt understand her fascination with Blythe.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall an OK Thriller but could of been so much better if it hadnt been for Blythe's story being dragged out. I will read more by Amanda in the future but i just hope her other books arent dragged out like this one was.
