Review for Villette by Charlotte Bronte

May be an image of 1 person, heart and text that says 'VIKING CLASSICS VILLETTE Charlotte Brontë Complete, Unabridged 1853 Special Edition PIC.COLLAGE'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to My Cousin for suggesting this book as our Winter Buddy Read this year. Honestly if it wasnt for the suggestion i probably wouldnt of picked this up on My Own but with that being said i throughly indulged and enjoyed this book so much.

This was only the 2nd Novel ive read by Charlotte Bronte and i have to say i liked this one ALOT better then i did "Jane Eyre" for a couple of reasons:
1) The Male Main Characters were more enjoyable.
2) This one seemed to be written better.

I loved that this story was based off of a Real Life Event that Charlotte and her Sisters went through in the Mid 1800s.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Lucy and Graham were definately my favorites and a Small Part of me even shipped them at times.

For the most part i liked all the characters expect for one, Paulina "Polly". From the time she got to Villette she acted like a spoiled brat and even tho she got better in her Teens and Adult Years  i could not bring myself to like her because of her actions as a young child were uncalled for.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually at Villette in London England while reading, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Beautifully Written Classic about Children in a Group Home in the 1800s!! Cna't wait to read more by Charlotte in the future!!
