Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book by Susan so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed this one and the Historical Aspect to this story set on 1867 Oregon Trail, Wyoming.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Polly was definately my favorite especially since i loved learning about her background of living on a Stagecoach Station with her Dad.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1867 Wyoming, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Histroically Accurate Christmas Novel!! Can't wait to read more by Susan in the future!!

Review of The Advent Bride by Mary Connealy

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was only the 4th Historical Fiction but the 1st Christmas Novel ive read by Mary so i kind of knew what to expect and i have to say i really loved how uniquelly written this one was especially since it mainly talked about The Bibical Advent from November 29th to December 25th.

The Characters were fun and intriguing to read about. Melanie was definately my favorite since she made a Wooden Advent Calendar for her student, Simon and each drawer had a piece for The Manger Nativity Scene he could set up leading up to Christmas.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1875 Lone Tree, Nebraska especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Fun Christmas Read!! Can't wait to read more by Mary in the future!!

Rating; 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a Christmas Story let alone a Historical Fiction by Margaret so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say THIS on is my favorite by far in this Novella series.

The research and facts she included in this story was so amazing to learn about. I love that there was history of why People would put Nutcrackers in their windows in Germany and the decendents kept doing that through the late 1880s. I also loved how there were 2 German Cookie Recipes featured in this book too. The First one i probably wont make cause im not a fan of Licorice tastes but the second one i definately will.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Lucy was definately my favorite. I loved how she continued to care for her Grandfather long after her  Grandma passed on and continued to make Nutcrackers while running a bakery out of their home.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Kansas 1880 especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Book about a Nutcracker and Bakery Shop!! Can't wait to read more by Margaret in the future!!

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Southern Illinois 1886 especially when the scenery was described.

I was supposed to read this last December with My Cousin but life got in the way and wasnt able to get to it til this month but i have to say i wish i'd gotten to it sooner because i really loved and enjoyed this one so much.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. It was hard to pick just one as my favorite since i seemed to like all of them.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1926 during Christmas especially when the scenery was described.

I especially loved that it was mentioned about Agatha Christie's "disappearance". The Book and Story seemed extra intriguing because of it.

Overall a Good Historical Fiction Christmas Story!! Can't wait to read more by Judith in the future!!

Review for Daddy's Gone A Hunting by Mary Higgins Clark

May be an image of text
Rating: 2 Stars!!
Review:
I really had HIGH Hopes for this one since i love all the other books by Mary but sadly this one was a BIG Disappointment. I thought this would be a fun Christmas based Mystery but instead its more of an FBI Mystery which im never a big of those since i perfer to watch them over reading them.

The Characters were fun and interesting to read about.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading.

If this story had picked up from the beginning instead of Chapter 10 i would of loved this one a little more. Overall an OK Mystery but could of been alot better.

Can't wait to read more by Mary in the future!!

For Reading Activities, Im not doing any connected to a Book Club cause none interested me so im doing The UNO TBR Challenge thats been mentioned on Youtube earlier this month. Basiclly you play Uno the normal way BUT whatever card you put down is the color or number book you have to read before your next move.

Inbetween Reading ill be watching Christmas Movies and Making Christmas Cookies so im not sure how much reading ill get down but hoping to meet my 350 Goal for this years Reading Challenge.
