πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œHello May πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œHello MayπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
Hi everyone, Hope 2022 is being good to you all so far, Can you believe it that we're entering the 5th month of the year?! How did that happen?! Seems like this year just started.

April wasnt such a good reading month since i only read 12 books but that's to be expected since the Spring Months are more productive with getting things done outdoor compared to indoors.

This month ill be doing a TBR Jar Challenge where im partnered with another member in my online book club they pick my 10 books for the month and i write the titles on a piece of paper and put them in the jar so i can pick 1 out which i wont know what one ill get til later today (I'll try to post the video on here but if i can't, make sure to check out my Instagram and Youtube pages for it)

What TBR Challenges will you be doing this month?! What books will you be reading this month?! Let me know in the comments below!!

Hope May is good to you all!!

Review for You Can Never Tell by Sarah Warburton

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Revell and Librarything for picking me to win this FREE ARC COPY in a giveaway on their website last year!!

This was my first time reading a book by Sarah so i wasnt sure what to expect tho i have to say  this was such a great Thriller to read about a Couple who bought a house with hidden cameras inside the walls.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Kacy was my favorite. I loved how diverse the characters were even tho some of them had a hateful attitude toward Kacy and Michael.

The Setting  was good tho i wish it was better described since it was very vage at where this was set in.

Overall a Good Thriller Novel!! Can't wait to read more by Sarah in the future!!

Review for Mornings on Main by Jodi Thomas

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book by Jodi so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i loved this book so much since i reminded me alot of a Hallmark Channel Spring Movie.

The Characters were so fun and enjoyable to read about. Jillian, Connor and Sunshine were my favorites and i could really relate to their situations.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Oklahoma while reading.

I do have to say i felt it was more of a Contemporary Book over Romance since there was no romance in this one.

Overall a Good Contemporary Romance!! Cant wait to read more by Jodi in the future!!

This was my first time reading a book by Kimberly so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i loved it very much tho i felt it was more Historical Fantasy then Historical Fiction.

The Characters were so funny and interesting at times to read about. Pennilynn, Alice and Sandor were my favorites i loved learning about their history and backstory while reading.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i wasa actually in the 1940s and 50s while reading.

I feel like the author did an excellent job writing this book and i could tell she did ALOT of research to get all the details and timelines correct.

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Revell for sending me this FREE ARC COPY to review for them!!

This was my first time reading a book by Jennifer so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i enjoyed this one very much since this was my first Historical Fiction Book set in Ireland that ive ever read.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Annabeth, Stephen and Emmaline were my favorites i think because of their backstory and Irish Heritage.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1920s Galway City, Ireland. I do feel like there was No Romance in this for it to be classified as a Historical Romance.

Overall a Phenomenal Historical Fiction Book set in 1920s Ireland!! Can't wait to read more books by Jennifer in the future!!

Review for Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to My Mom's Cousin Anne for giving me this book in May 2021 when my dad was in the hospital in PA.

I would of read this book then BUT my brain wasnt much into reading back then with everything going on last year but im happy I finally was able to read this one.

The Characters were so interesting to read about since I never heard about these women before.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1950s-1980s Virginia while reading.

As a child growing up in the 90s and 2000s, I remember My dad watching the NASA Channel alot and since i used to watch with him on and off i think that's why this book kept my attention the whole time.

Can't wait to read more by Margot Lee Shetterly in the future!!

The Setting was so beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in California while reading.

This book reminded me alot of Hallmark Channel's South Beach Love and You're Bacon Me Crazy Movies which i think is why i enjoyed this book so much!!

Review for The Gates of Rutherford (Rutherford Park #3) by Elizabeth Cooke

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book/series by Elizabeth so i wasnt sure what to expect but might i say, Oh My Lanta!! this was a phenomenally written Historical Fiction in this series about 1917 Rutherford Park England during World War 1.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Charlotte and Preston were my favorite i think mainly because the book surrounded them most of the time.

The Setting was so beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Rutherford Park while reading.

Overall a Phenomenal Historical Fiction Book in this series!! Can't wait to read Books 1 and 2 in this series as well as other books by Elizabeth in the future!!

Review for Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica

 Rating: 2 Stars!!
Review:
Saying that i was highly disappointed in this one is an understatement, It was just too explainatory for my likeness.

I loved her other 2 books The Good Girl and Don't You Cry so i was hoping this one would be good too but sadly i was mistaken.

The Characters were okay but very odd in my opinion. I liked Chris and how he was determined to get Willow out since he sensed she wasnt a good person.

The Setting was Okay as well but very little was told about it which i think is also what made this book so hard for me to get into.

Overall, i will read more by Mary in the future, i just think this one wasnt for me.

Review for Since You've Been Gone (Restoring Heritage #3) by Tari Faris

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Revell and Librarything for picking me to win this FREE ARC COPY in a giveaway last year!!

This was my first time reading a book/series by Tari so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say, i think i found my NEW FAVORITE Contemporary Romance Series.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Leah, Abby, Colby and Madison ended up being my favorites in this book not just cause of their connections and backstory but also because i could relate to some of the issues they were going through especially Abby, who lost her parents and didnt know how to find happiness/enjoy life again which i can relate to since losing my dad 5 months ago.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Heritage, Oregon while reading.

This book reminded me alot of The Hallmark Channel Movies, Sweet Autumn and Daisy Hills both from the characters to the setting and everything inbetween.

Overall a Phenomenal Contemporary Romance about Friends, Family and waiting for God's Perfect Timing!!

Can't wait to read more by Tari in the future!!

Review for A Heart Adrift by Laura Frantz

 Rating: 4 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Revell for sending me this FREE ARC COPY to review for them and Laura Frantz for sending me a book box with recipe card, bookmark and paper pad for this book.

This book reminds me alot of Hallmark Channel's Love, Romance and Chocolate even tho this book is set in 1755 and not 2019.

After reading this book (#3 by this author) i was torn as to what to i should rate it so after MUCH consideration i knocked it down to 4 stars since the chapters felt too long for my liking and slow at times.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. I could relate to Esmee and how she felt since losing her Mom years earlier and how hard it was for her to recover from that since i lost my dad 4 1/2 months ago.

The Setting was so beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the Virginia Coast during The France War in 1755 while reading especially since i visited that area as a teen one summer with my parents before visiting friends of my Grandparents (my dad's parents).

Overall a good Historical Romance, i just wish the chapters werent so long and werent so slow going at times!!

Can't wait to read more by Laura in the future!!
