Hello September!!

                       πŸπŸπŸSeptember TBR🍁🍁🍁
Hello September!!
Hard to believe we are now in the LAST MONTH of Summer with only 3 Weeks left in it!!

September will be a hard month for me since My Dad's 70th Birthday would of been on the 14th but im hopeful that reading wise it'll be and OK one.

For this month im doing Bookish Jeopardy with We Be Book'N on Facebook. Those of you familiar with the Weeknight Game Show, Jeopardy it's basically like that but the Catagories are based on Books.  As well as The 2022 Year Long Challenge and Bookstagram Challenges.

Unlike last month i wont be posting Polls for you all to vote on in my Social Media Stories to help me pick my next reads but i will still post pics of what books i'll be reading with what Prompt and Catagory im reading it for.

Most of my reads this month are mainly Mystery and Historical Fiction but hoping to explore some NEW Genres during the month.

What Books will you be reading this month?! What Challenges will you be doing?! Let me know in the comments below!!

Til Next time, Hope you have a good September!!

Rating: 2.5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Bookish First for picking me to win this book in a raffle on their website last year!!

I kept putting this off cause i had a feeling i wouldnt like it and surprisingly i was right this book was just as bad as Cherish Farrah was.

The Characters were OK but none of them were my favorites especially when Bethany took it upon herself to change the character names from what The Original Author Louisa May Alcott wrote them as from experience. This is why i RARELY read books based on old classics cause classics SHOULD NOT be rewritten.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Roanoke but that's all that was good about this book.

Things i disliked about this book:
Saying that one Ethnicity is better then the other in the Original Book is WRONG, EVERYONE works hard for what they want in life.
Changing Names of Characters.
Placing this book 2 years BEFORE the Original was set.
Chapters 1-5 were very dull compared to 5-14.

Overall an OK Retelling of Little Women but it could of been way better!! If Louisa was still alive she would of been disappointed by this and how Bethany basically tried to write off Lousia 's version!!

I gave Bethany's books 2 chances and im finding her books arent for me or she needs to improve her writing, storytelling and perspective of others before i'll read anymore of her books!!

Review for Love's Fortress (Doors of the Past #7) by Jennifer Uhlarik

Rating: 4 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Barbour Publishing's Review Crew for picking me to review this FREE ARC COPY to review for them earlier this year!!

The Characters were OK but none of them became favorites of mine. I felt sad of what happened to Brad's Niece Brynn but her storyline didnt last very long in the book which made me sad cause i really started to like Brynn's character.

The Setting was Beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in St Augustine Florida 1875 and 2022.

I Especially loved The Storyline about The Plain Indians of 1875 and found their background very interesting since i never read up about them before.

Overall an OK Christian Fiction Novel but could of been better!! I will read more by Jennifer in the future but i hope all her novels arent like this one!!

Review for City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments #2) by Cassandra Clare

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Another Phenomenal Book in this YA Paranormal Series!!

The Characters are still so interesting to read about. Clary is still my favorite and could relate to her more in this Book then i did in Book 1 mainly because when she says along the lines of "I want a normal life again, before i became a Shadowhunter." I really felt i could relate to that cause i think at one point or another in our lives we always think or say the phrase "I want a normal life again."

The Setting was beautifully described. I loved how Cassandra put a Map in the beginning of the book so readers can see what all the places mentioned look like which really made me feel like i was actually in NYC while reading.

Overall a Phenomenal Book 2 in this YA Paranormal Series!! Can't wait to read Book 3 soon!!

Review for Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

May be an image of text that says '8:09 Search Results Emily BrontΓ« Wuthering Heights DUKE LASSICS WUTHERING HEIGHTS Emily Bronte Wuthering Heigh... BORROW'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a Novel by Emily Bronte so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say surprisingly i ended up loving this one even tho at times the language was confusing to understand but the overall Consept is what i loved about this one.

The Characters were OK as it took me some time to warm up to them. Catherine ended up being my favorite mainly because i could relate to her feelings after her Father passed away since i lost mine 9 months ago.

The Setting was OK tho i would of loved more descriptiveness about it.

Overall a Good Classic Novel by Emily!! I will read more by her in the future to see if i will like all of them the way i did this one!!

Review for Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead

May be an image of book and text that says 'THE STORY THAT KICKED OFF THE NTERNATIONA #1BESTSELLING SERIES VAMPIRE ACADEMY peacock NEW SERIES RICHELLE MEAD'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book by Richelle Mead let alone in this series so i was leary if i'd like this one or not but since ive seen The Vampire Diaries and Legacies TV Shows a few times i figured "Why Not Give it a try?!" and Surprisingly i LOVED this series even tho it's only Book 1.

The Characters were so funny and interesting to read about. Rose and Lissa were my favorites tho more Rose then Lissa i think because of Rose's smart mouth responses to The Professors which i found very comical.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually at The Vampire Academy in Montana while reading.

Overall a PHENOMENAL Book 1 in this YA Fantasy Series!! Can't wait to read Book 2 and more by Richelle in the future!!

Thank you to Scribner Books for picking me to win this FREE ARC Copy in a Giveaway in their Newsletter Email a few months ago!!

I wasnt sure if i'd like this book or not since this is a NEW Author writing in YA Fiction and her Debut Novel but i have to say i LOVED it!! This book reminded me alot of a CLEAN MTV's Jersey Shore but with Teens instead of 20 year olds.

The Characters were interesting and enjoyable to read about. Margot and Liz were my favorites tho more Margot then Liz because some things Margot said were really relatable to me. I didnt like Evy as much cause she just came off as a Brat to me in more ways then one.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was really in Seaside while reading.

Overall a PHENOMENAL YA Debut by Katie Runde!! I wish this was part of a series cause i'd love to see how The Storyline for The Dunne Family would continue!!

Can't wait to read more by Katie in the future!!

Thank you to Barbour Publishing Inc's Review Crew for picking me to receive this FREE ARC COPY to review for them last year!!

This was my first time reading a book by Carrie so i wasnt sure what to expect but surprisingly i LOVED it especially since it was mixed with 4 Different Genres: Historical Fiction, Christian Fiction, Mystery and Time Travel.

The Characters were  so interesting to read about. Lily and Willa were my favorites especially their background and connection to each other even tho The Eras they were in were 120 years apart.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually on Mackinac Island, Michigan while reading.

Overall a Phenomenal Book 5 in this series about discovering mysteries behind Doors to the Past!! Can't wait to read more by Carrie in the future!!

Review for The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

May be an image of book and text that says 'Paula Hawkins The Girl on the Train EW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER SLOW FIRE BURNING THE ANOVEL GIRIL ON THHE TRAIN PAULA HAWKINS HIE GIRIL ONI THHE TRAIN The Girl on the T... BORROW'
Rating: 2.5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book by Paula Hawkins so i was hoping for a really good Thriller but sadly it left me feeling disappointed with starting of slow, too much descriptivness and The Main Character was basically a drunk through most of the book.

The Characters were OK but i wouldnt say i loved them and none of them are my favorites. Rachel came off as a Drunk and acted really weird which was a BIG Turnoff for me, like who acts that way everyday?!

The Setting was beautifully described inside the train, which made me feel like i was actually riding on it with Rachel.

If The Storyline, Characters and Descriptivness had been better i would of loved it as much as i did The Setting and would of rated it higher then 2.5 Stars but it just seemed like it was just another Thriller similar to The Woman in the Window that i read and loved last year (Yes i realize that this book came out before that one but still.)

Overall an OK Thriller but ive read better. I will read more by Paula in the future but i just hope all her books arent like this one.

May be an image of 2 people, people standing and text that says 'SECOND chances magical holiday romance TAMI FRANKLIN'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Did i just read a Christmas Book in August?! Why yes i did. Why?! well i didnt have any other Romance for this month so i thought why not read the ebook just to mark it off my TBR List.

This was my first time reading a book/series by Tami so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i loved it so much. It reminded me of a Retelling as well as much like a Hallmark Channel, GAC Family and Lifetime Christmas Movie which i think is why i enjoyed this one so much!!

The Characters were very interesting and enjoyable to read about. Carter , McKenzie and the other female character were my favorites i could really relate to some of them.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in NYC at Christmas Time.

Overall a Phenomenal Book 1 in this Romance Series!! Can't wait to read more by Tami in the future!!

Review for Cherish Farrah by Bethany C Morrow

May be an image of 1 person, book and text that says 'Everyone should have something CHERISH o cherish. FARRAH a novel BETHANY c MORROW'
Rating: 3 Stars!!
Review:
***I was not obligated to write a review BUT everything mentioned in this review are all my own thoughts that i developed while reading this book.***
First off, Thank you to Goodreads and Dutton for picking me to win this FREE ARC COPY in a giveaway on their website back in May.

This was my first time reading a book by Bethany C Morrow so i wasnt sure what to expect since it's listed as a "Horror" Novel and since Horror isnt my favorite Genre i thought i'd give it a shot but sadly i was VERY Disappointed since to me there was NO Horror at all in this book just seemed more like a Thriller. When i think of Horror i think of Frankenstein-esk Books but this didnt gave any of that in fact it reminded me more of The 90s Scream Movies especially when the girls were in the car with their friends.

The Characters were interesting to read about but sadly none of them became my favorites for several reasons, 1) It bugged me that Cherish's Mom kept saying along the lines of "White's have it easy they dont have to work for what they want in life" Um, NO there are some who do actually work for years to have what they want in life so to me that was a missinterpretation of life for us White's. 2) Trigger Warnings should of come with this book from the first page about Girls putting nails in their feet to hurt themselves like WTH?! Who does that?!

The Setting was OK but could of been better cause it was never mentioned WHERE this book was set in other then the month of August but nothing about the year, town or state just alot of descriptivness about the girls when it wasnt needed instead of just telling about The Girls' Life from Birth to the point of living with The Whitmans.

Overall an OK Novel but ive read better tho ive never read a book that got on my nerves this much!!

I will read more by Bethany in the future BUT i hope all her books arent like this one!!

Review for City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments Series, #1) by Cassandra Clare

May be an image of 1 person and text that says '"PREPARE TO BEHOOKED." Entertainment ainment Weekly New York Times Bestselling Series THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS Book One City of Bones CASSANDRA CLARE'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book/series by Cassandra Clare so i wasnt sure what to expect and was a little apprehensive about starting this series mainly due to all the 1 Star Reviews and the fact that i RARELY  read any Paranormal Books anymore but i have to say i LOVED this book so much and now i wish i had read it sooner.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Clary and Jace became my favorites really from the beginning but Jace is more of a "love to hate him" kind of character which is why he's a favorite of mine now.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in NYC while reading.

Overall a Phenomenal Paranormal Series!! Cant wait to read more in this series by Cassandra Clare in the future!!

Review for "Murder at the Courthouse (Hidden Springs Mysteries #1) by A.H. Gabhart

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was the first Mystery Novel/Series ive read by Ann H Gabhart since i mainly read her Contemporary Romance Novels so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i loved it since this reminded me alot of Hallmark Channel's "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries" Meets "Murder Freshly Baked" Movies but the only difference was that The Main Character is a Male Protagonist opposed to a Female Protagonist which i actually enjoyed for a change.

The Characters were very interesting and enjoyable to read about. Michael and Aunt Lindy were my favorites, i loved their witty banter, it was so entertaining to read about.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Hidden Springs, Kentucky while reading.

Overall a very enjoyable Murder Mystery Book 1 in this series!! Can't wait to read more in this series in the future!!

Review for A Most Glorious View (American Wonders Collection #3) by Regina Scott

May be an image of 1 person, outdoors and text that says 'AMERICAN A VIEW MOST GLORIOUS REGINA SCOTT'
Rating: 3 Stars!!
Review:
This was my 2nd time reading a book in this series by Regina so i knew what to expect even tho throughout the book i "HOPED" it's be better then "A Distance Too Grand" was but sadly it wasnt as enjoyable as i hoped it would be.

The Characters were OK but Nathan Hardee and Stephen Winston got on my nerves from Chapter 1 Page 9 with their "She's a Woman so she can't rock climb" speel which got on my nerves and is why i rated it 3 Stars!!

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1893 Tacoma, Washington while reading. If the story and characters had been just as  beautifully described as The Setting was then i would of rated it 5 Stars.

Overall an OK Book 3 in this series but wished for more. I dont know if i'll read more by Regina in the future, i just hope all her books arent like this series was.

I wasnt sure if i'd like this one since it's mixed with Paranormal and Romance Genres but i have to say i enjoyed it so much that it's my FAVORITE Fantasy Novel/Series of 2022!!

The Characters were so funny and enjoyable to read about. Ava, Vivienne, Grant and Rion are my favorites.

The Setting was so beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book with the characters while reading.

I do wish JC had gone more in depth about where the story was set but other then that i loved it so much!! Can't wait to read Book 2 in this series when it comes out next year!!

Review for Little Men (Little Women #2) by Louisa May Alcott

 Little Men
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Another Phenomenal Story in this series by Louisa May Alcott!!

For so long i kept putting this one off thinking i'd be disappointed by it, now i wish i had read it sooner.

The Characters were so interesting, enjoyable and funny to read about. Jo and her sons are definately my favorites in this story.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading.

Can't wait to read more by Lousia in the future!!

Review for The Beach Club by Elin Hildrebrand

The Beach Club by Elin Hilderbrand
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was the 2nd Summer Novel ive read by Elin and i have to say im officially HOOKED on her books. This book reminded me alot of a Summer Nights Hallmark Channel Movie and 90s Teen Drama Beverly Hills 90210.

The Characters were so enjoyable to read about. I loved MOST of the characters but my favorites were Maribel and Mack. even tho it was touch and go i loved how their relationship built up throughout the book.

The Setting was so beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Nantucket, Massachusetts while reading.

Overall Another Phenomenal Summer Read by Elin. Can't wait to read more by her in the future!!
