Christmas Shopoholic by Sophie Kinsella-Contemporary (This book was gifted to me in Christmas 2020 by my book club friend Sylvia. I was going to read it last year BUT after losing my dad i was not in the mood for anything Christmas so i pushed it back to this year which it will be my first read of the month which im really excited about.)

You Can Run by Rebecca Zanetti- Thriller (Same with this one, i meant to read it last year but wasnt in the mood for it so i pushed it back and am hoping to get to it this month.)

This one i picked up on the FREE BOOKS Table at my local Post Office and since ive loved Mary's books since i was a teen i figured December is the perfect month to read it especially since a Winter theme is on the cover.)

You Belong to Me by Mary Jane Clark- Mystery (Another one i picked up at my local Post Office off their FREE BOOKS Table.)

Forever Christmas by Robert Tate Miller- Christian Fiction (Another one i picked up at my local Post Office off their FREE BOOKS Table.)

Let Me Whisper in Your Ear by Mary Jane Clark- Mystery (Another one i picked up at my local Post Office off their FREE BOOKS Table.)

The Cat in the Christmas Tree by Callie Smith Grant- Nonfiction (Another one i requested from Revell Publishers earlier this month to review for them.)

A Quilt for Christmas by Melody Carlson-Christmas (Another one i requested from Revell Publishers earlier this month to review for them.)

Plain Promise by Beth Wiseman- Amish Fiction (This was sent to me by my book club friend Amanda Herrera last year or 2 years ago from an ISO post in We Be Swap'n on Facebook, she knew i'd been looking for the rest of the books in the series so she was so nice to send them to me.)

A Cry in the Night by Mary Higgins Clark- Mystery (Another one i picked up off the FREE BOOKS Table at my local Post Office.)

Christmas Wishes (Christmas Letters and Rainy Day Kisses) by Debbie Macomber- Christmas/Contemporary Romance (Another one i picked up off the FREE BOOKS Table at my local Post Office)

A Heart's Revolution by Rosanna M White- Historical Fiction (This is one of 3 books my mom's cousin Anne had given to me in Spring 2021 to help me while i dealth with my dad's illness last year but i hadnt read it yet because my mindset hadnt been right to read it last year so im hoping to get to it this month.)

Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to BookInfluencers for picking me to participate in this Paid Promotion Book Tour for this book. Per Campaign Details a Review was not required but appreciated. This was my first time reading a book by Judy Ann Davis so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed this one and connected with the storyline instantly.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Richard, Torrie and Estella were my favorites throughout the book in more way then one for different reasons.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Hickory Valley, PA especially when the scenery was described.

I do wish this book was part of a series cause i'd love to see the storyline between Rich, Torrie and Estella to evolve overtime.

Overall a Good Contemporary Romance, Historical Fiction about a man who heads home to sell his late grandmothers house. Can't wait to read more by Judy in the future!!

Review for The Death of Mrs Westway by Ruth Ware

May be an image of book
Rating: 4.5 Stars!!
Review:
This was only the 2nd book ive read by Ruth Ware so i kind of knew what to expect but wasnt sure since most of the reviews for this book were low rated and i was wondering why so im glad i gave this a read since i can now see why most readers didnt care for it.

The Characters were interesting to read about. I didnt care for Hal "Harriet"'s complaining about how her mother ran the household while she was growing up which is why i took a star off my rating.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in London England while reading especially when the scenery was described.

I loved all the quotes about Grief in here which i could really relate to.

Overall a Good Mystery Thriller about a Maid who passes away unexpectedly and all her secrets come out at the reading of The Will. Can't wait to read more by Ruth in the future!!

Review for Nancy Drew: The Curse by Micol Ostow

May be an image of 1 person and book
Rating: 1 Star!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a Nancy Drew book by Micol Ostow so i wasnt sure what to expect even tho ive read Book 1 in The Riverdale Series but i was hopeful but sadly disappointed very quickly since there was little to no mystery.

The Characters were okay but didnt wow me at all. None of the characters except for Nancy and Ace were based on The CW Show which is one of the 2 reasons why i rated it 1 Star.

The Setting was okay but not very descriptive.

Overall this one was NOTHING like the Original Series by Carolyn Keene and NOTHING like the TV Show on The CW especially when it was very dull from Chapters 1-9 and came across as just YA with NO Mystery til Chapters 9-26.

I dont think i'll read anymore books in this series by Micol since they dont really know how to write a proper Nancy Drew Mystery!!

Thank you to Kensington Books for picking me to win this FREE Copy in a giveaway in their email newsletter last year!!

This was my first time reading a book in this series and by this author so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i enjoyed this one very much which kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

The Characters were so interesting and enjoyable to read about. Ellie and Kade were my favorites i loved the witty banter between them.

The Setting was so beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Denver, Colorado while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Book 1 in this Mystery Thriller Series!! Can't wait to read more in this series very soon!!

Review for The Mourning After by Rochelle B Weinstein

May be an image of 2 people, book and text that says 'S ROCHELLE B WEINSTEIN MOURNING the AFTER'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Another Phenomenal Contemporary Fiction by Rochelle Weinstein!!

Thank you to Rochelle for picking me to win this FREE Copy in a giveaway on her website a few years ago. I was suppose to read this last year but i kept putting it off when My Dad got sick in May 2021 and them when he passed away in November 2021 i pushed it back even more so that's why it took me so long to get to.

The Characters were very intriguing and enjoyable to read about. Levon Keller, Chloe Keller and Lucy Bell were definately my favorites. I could really relate to the grief Levon and Chloe were feeling over the loss of their brother, David.  I loved how Lucy was there for Levon as he went through his grieving process reminded me alot of how me and my cousin Nicola are and how we are there for each other as i go through my grieving process of losing my dad.

The Setting was very well described which made me feel like i was actually in Miami Beach, Florida while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Gutwretching Heart tugging Novel about losing a loved one tragically!! Can't wait to read more by Rochelle in the future!!

Review for The Messy Lives of Book People by Phaedra Patrick

May be an image of book and text
Rating: 4.5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to my Book Club Friend Logan for gifting me this book back in July for my birthday.

This was my first time reading a book by Phaedra Patrick so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i did end up enjoying this one depsite the slow go for the first 8 chapters.

The Characters were so enjoyable and interesting to read about. Liv was definately my favorite character especially when she had to swoop in and finish Essie's book.

The Setting was beautifully described tho i wish the town, state and country it was set in was talked about more cause at times it was hard to keep track where the book was set in.

I did love how Chronic and Acute Pancreatitis was talked about in Chapter 9 as that illness hits home for me since My Dad had it 2 times during his life, in 2014 and 2021 before his passing in November 2021. I do wish it was mentioned how gallstones cause Pancreatitis not just alcohol consumption as i know from what my dad went through.

Overall a Good Contemporary Novel about a housekeeper who becomes a personal assistant to a writer who dies of Chronic Pancreatitis and the housekeeper ends up writing the last 8 chapters of her final novel.

I will read more by Phaedra Patrick, i just hope the first 8 chapters of her other books arent as slow as this one was!!

Review for The Melody Lingers on by Mary Higgins Clark

May be an image of book and text
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Another Phenomenal Mystery Novel by Mary Higgins Clark!!

This was the 7th Novel ive read by Mary so i kind of knew what to expect even tho each of her Mysteries is different from the last.

The Characters were so funny and enjoyable to read about. Elaine "Lane" Harmon is definately my favorite character out of all the characters in the book mainly because of her dedication as an interior designer to make the customer happy with how the rooms in their house are decorated.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Bergan County, NY while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall another Phenomenal Mystery Novel by Mary!! Can't wait to read more of her books in the future!!

Review for Mrs Witherspoon Goes to War (Heroines of WWII #4) by Mary Davis

May be an image of 1 person, book and text that says 'Witherspoon Mrs. GOES TO WAR HEROINES OF WWII I MARY DAVIS'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Barbour Publishing's Review Crew for sending me this FREE ARC COPY to review for them earlier this year!!

This was my first time reading a book by Mary Davis so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i enjoyed this one very much that it was so hard to put down.

The Characters were so interesting and enjoyable to read about. Margaret "Peggy" was my favorite cause i loved her determination to fly a plane that was not normally flowen by a woman back then.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Europe 1944 while reading, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Book 4 in this series about Heroines of WW2!! Can't wait to read more by Mary in the future!!

Review of Moonlight Becomes You by Mary Higgins Clark

May be an image of book and text that says 'THE THEQUEENOFSUSPEN QUEENOF SUSPE SUSPENSE NSE HIGGINS CLARK #1 YorkTimes Bestseller ONLIGHT RECOMES OMES'
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Another Phenomenal Mystery by Mary Higgins Clark!! This one reminded me alot of a Retelling consept on Cinderella set in the Mystery Genre.

The Characters were interesting and enjoyable to read about. Maggie was my favorite of all the characters and her determination to find out who was causing all the deaths.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was really in Newport, Rhode Island while reading, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Mystery Novel!! Can't wait to read more by Mary in the future!!

Review:
This was my first time reading a book by this author and in this series so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed and loved this one very much. It reminded me alot of The Secret Garden meets A Court of Thorns and Roses and Queen Victoria.

The Characters were so interesting and intriguing to read about. It was hard to pick a favorite character so i can't really say who was my favorite out of all of them.

The Setting was interesting to read about which made me feel like i was actually on the island of Visidia especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Book 1 in this YA Fantasy Series by Adalyn Grace!! Can't wait to read Book 2 soon!!

The Homewreckers by Mary Kay Andrews

May be an image of book and text that says 'mary kay andrews NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR home- the wreckers LOVE. MURDER. AND FAULTY WIRING A NOVEL'
Rating: 3 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to St Martin's Press for picking me to win this FREE COPY in a giveaway in their email newsletter earlier this year!!

This was the 3rd book ive read by Mary Kay Andrews so i kind of knew what to expect but i have to say this one was VERY Disappointing. I loved the consept about Flipping Houses Competition but too much Drama took over from the storyline.

The Characters were interesting to read about but none of them came off as my favorites in fact most of them kept complaining about everything which was a big turnoff and is one of the two reasons why i have it a low rating.

The Setting was OK but didnt learn much about where its set in which was disappointing and reason #2 why i gave it a low rating.

I feel like Mary's writing with this one was very rushed like she was in a hurry to get this book written and didnt feel like she gave any effort to the consept of the story. I also didnt like how she rushed Hattie's character to move on from losing her husband cause in reality Grief shouldnt be rushed.

Also there was NO Romance whatsoever and to me this was more of a Chick-Lit book instead of a Romance.

Overall an OK Contemporary Romance but ive read better!! I will read more by this author in the future but i hope this isnt her new way of going about writing books!!

Review for Dream On (The Silver Trilogy #2) by Kerstin Gier

May be an image of book
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
This was my first time reading a book in this series and by this author so i wasnt sure what to expect even tho YA and Fantasy are 2 of my Top 5 Favorite Genres to read but surprisingly i liked it very much and could relate to some of what the character Liv was feeling about things that were going on in her life throughout the book.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. Charles and Liv were definately my favorites.

The Setting was so beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in London England while reading.

Overall a Good Book 2 in this series by Kerstin Gier!! Can't wait to read more in this series very soon!!

Review for A Lot Like Christmas (Blue Moon Bay #2) by Jennifer Snow

Rating: 4 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to TLC Book Club for picking me to win this book in a giveaway in their email newsletter last year!! This was my first time reading a book by this author in this series so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i liked this one very much and am looking forward to reading more in this Contemporary Series very soon the only thing i was disappointed with the Genre listing of Romance cause this was more of a Clean Christmas book.

The Characters were so interesting and comical to read about. Jessica was my favorite, i loved learning more about her Small Town Bakery.

The Setting was was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in Blue Moon Bay while reading.

The Genre listing was very deceiving cause there was NO Romance in this book it was more of a Clean Christmas Romance book.

Overall a Good Book 2 in this Contemporary Series by Jennifer Snow!! Can't wait to read more in this series very soon!!

Review for Miriam's Song by Jill Eileen Smith

May be an image of 1 person
Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Revell for sending me this FREE ARC COPY to review for them last year!! This was my first time reading a book by this author and in this genre: Bibical Fiction so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed this one very much and it gave me a whole new perspective about Miriam and Moses' life in the 1400s Before Christ.

The Characters (based on the bible) were so much more interesting and enjoyable to read about and gave me a whole new perspective and amazement at their lives back then. Miriam and Moses' are definately favorites of mine.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the story with Miriam while reading.

I do wish this was part of  a series because i'd love to read more about Miriam and Moses' life back then.

Overall a Phenomenal Standalone about Miriam's life back then!! Can't wait to read more by Jill in the future!!

Review:
Thank you to Tameri for picking me to win this FREE ARC COPY in a email newletter giveaway in her email a few months ago!!

This isnt a normal Fantasy read for me so even tho im excited to win this book i was leary starting it since it's Epic Fantasy and im still new to the Subgenre so i wasnt sure if i'd like this one or not but surprisingly i did like most of this book for the most part even tho im not a big medieval Fantasy reader.

The Characters were interesting to read about. I dont necessarily have a favorite character since this was my first time reading a this book in this series by this author but i did start to like Jinnipher with her wiseness and wisdom.

The Setting was what really got me into the storyline especially with All 3 World Maps in the beginning of this book that left me wanting to know more about those worlds.

Overall a Good Book 1 in this Epic Fantasy Series by Tameri!! I do hope to check out the other books in this series in the future!!

Okay i am officially loving this series!!

Writing this review was a little bit of a struggle since so much happened and i can't seem to contain my excitement for Feyre with that ending.

Even tho this was only the 2nd book ive read in this series im really loving it so far and i can happily say Sarah J Maas is quickly becoming a Top 5 Favorite Fantasy Author of mine.

The Characters were so interesting and exciting to read about. Feyre is definately a favorite of mine. Not sure how i feel about Rhys and Tamin tho especially with some of the things they said and did in this book.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book at The Night Court with the characters especially when the Castle and wardrobe was described.

Overall another Phenomenal Book in this series by Sarah J Maas!! Can't wait to read Book 3 later this month!!

This was the 3rd book ive read by Jane Austen and i have to say i enjoyed this one as much as i have her other 2 books (Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility) as well as she's becoming a Top 5 Favorite Classic Author of mine.

The Characters were funny and interesting to read about. Catherine is definately my favorite and reminded me alot of myself especially when she started enjoying Thrillers.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was really in Bath with her while reading especially when she was invited to visit Northanger Abbey with Henry.

Overall a Good Classic by Jane!! Can't wait to explore more of her books very soon!!
