Review for A Double Dose of Love (Amish Mail Order Brides Series Book 1) by Kathleen Fuller

Review: 
This was a sweet heartwarming story about 2 sets of Amish Twins who fall in love with each other after one set visits Birch Creek Indiana after seeing a ad for Mail Order Brides in a local newspaper. 

The Characters were so fun and interesting to read about and The Setting was so beautifully described. 

Can't wait to read Book 2 when it comes out in September 2021!!

This was my first time reading a book by this author so i wasnt sure what to expect even tho i love the cover so much!! 

The characters were interesting to read about and The Setting was so beautifully described, it reminded me of the Hannah Swansen Cozy Mystery Series by Joanne Fluke. 

The only problem i had with this book was how slow the storyline took to build throught the first half of the book but over all i did enjoy the consept of the book. 

Can't wait to read more by this author in the future!!

Can yall believe its February already, only 2 months into 2021!! This month will be somewhat busy for me with doing Bookish Tic Tac Toe's for 2 book clubs on Facebook and baking Valentine's treats etc for my parents anniversary and for Valentine's Day.

The Characters are still so enjoyable to read and The Setting was so beautifully described!!

Review for Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris

Thank you to my book club friend Ashley Jones for gifting me this book last month for Christmas!!

This was my first time reading a book by this author so i wasnt sure what to expect and i wish i could of loved this book more.

I hated the main character so much which i didnt think it was possible to had a main character in a book with a passion the way i do. I couldnt stand the way he disrespected and talk to his wife the way he did that was something that bothered me through the whole book and i couldnt get over that. Why would an author make a main character so hateful?! 

I loved Grace and Millie but mainly Grace, her determination to escape from Jack was so amazing even tho each of her attempts failed. 

The setting felt all too Unbelievable and Unrealistic to me, like who actually has that perfect life in real life?! No one does so that was a turnoff for me. 

The ending was disappointing to me cause i feel like Jack took the chicken way out by doing that to himself. I was expecting a BIG over the top "Fight for Survival" ending between Jack, Grace and Millie. 

I feel like the author could of did better with the ending. I will read more books by her BUT im just very disappointed with this one!!

This was my first time reading a book by this author so i wasnt sure if i'd like it or not but i did love and enjoy this one so much especially this it features Gettysburg PA one of my favorite Civil War Era Towns to visit. 

The characters were so fun and interesting to read about and The Setting was so beautifully described. 

Can't wait to read more by this author in the future!!

This was my first time reading a book by this author so i wasnt sure if i'd like this book or not but man i loved and enjoyed this one so much!! 

The sad part of this book is how people have this stigma about not wanting to adopt stray cats due to their behavioral issues before even getting to know the cat even tho Adoption rates are at a steady HIGH over Dogs since 2019!! 

Can't wait to read more books like this in the future!!

This was my first time reading a book/series by this author so i was unsure if i'd like it or not but Oh my did i love this one so much!! 

The characters were so funny and interesting to read about and The Setting was so beautifully described about a Inn Keeper of an Amish Themed Bed and Breakfast in a small town in Indiana. 

If you love Cozy Mysteries set in Amish Country than this book/series is DEFINATELY for you!! 

Can't wait to read more by this author in the future!!

Another great story in this series by this author!! 

The characters were so funny and interesting to read about and The setting was so beautifully described set in Winter about a Amish Schoolhouse Teacher who fosters 2 twin girls from a local orphanage in her hometown. 

I love when authors talk about these topics since they arent talked about much anymore!!

Can't wait to read more by this author in the future!!
