This was my first time reading a Thriller by Diane so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i expected so much more from this one which ended up being such a disappointment. 

Chapters 1-3 were so slow starting with NO Acknowledgement of the murder til Chapter 4 which one of the 2 reasons why i felt it had to be rated 4 Stars but to be honest that rating is just too generous. 

The Characters were interesting to read about. I didnt care for any of the characters since Skye came off as selfish only cared about her social life over caring for her Widowed Father and dont even get me started on her Twin. 

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described which is the only thing i liked about this book. 

Overall an OK Thriller but would of been better if the author had worked on story building a little more. I will read more by Diane in the future but i hope all her other books arent like this one was.
