Review for An Unlikely Spy by Rebecca Starford

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Harper Collins and Goodreads for picking me to win this FREE ARC COPY in a giveaway last year!! I would of read this earlier but when my dad unexpectedly got sick in Mid-2021 and passed away in late 2021 this book got pushed back.

This was my first time reading a book by this author so i wasnt sure what to expect but i really enjoyed this one very much especially since it was set during World War II in England.

The Characters were all so interesting to read about and i loved that they based off of real people who lived that back then.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1939-1948 England while reading. It bothered me that the chapters were all over the place with the dates during WW2 where they should of been in order instead of how they were written but i still felt like i was actually in that time with the characters while reading.

The Storyline was so interesting  since ive never read a  Historical Fiction Novel based on real life Spying during WW2 so that was very intriguing to me.

Overall a very interesting and informative Historical Fiction Novel based on real life events that occurred during WW2 !!

Can't wait to read more by Rebecca in the future!!

March TBR

                                             🍀🍀🍀 💚💚💚March TBR🍀🍀🍀💚💚💚

Hello March!!
How is it possible that it's March already?! At least Spring is only 18 Days away, right?! which means flowers will be blooming soon. (In North Carolina Daffodils are already in bloom, only reason i know that is cause one of my cousins down there posted a photo on Facebook recently of her gorgeous Daffodils).

This Month i'll be doing 2 Reading Challenges:
Murder Mystery TBR Challenge (Disney Edition)
Pick My TBR

So my reading wont be in order of the photo above tho i think i'll end up starting with Historical Fiction again (haha!! I think that's my go to Genre this year).

I'll also being doing 2 Prompts for 2022 Reading Challenge for Mystery and Tree on the Cover, thankfully i have 4 book options for those just have to decide which of the 4 books ill use for those.

I think that's it for now. Let me know in the comments below what you plan to read this month!!

As Always,
Happy Reading :)!!

❤❤❤ February Wrapup❤❤❤

So my first month back to reading after an unexpected loss was surprisingly successful since i honestly didnt know how my Mental Health would take reading since losing a Parent not only effects you Emotionally and Physically, it always effects you Mentally.

As you can see i read MOSTLY Historical Fiction and Mystery Genres tho to be fair most of them were suppose to be read in January.

How did your reading do in February?! Let me know in the comments below, i'd love to know what your favorites and least favorites were.

Thank you again to My Great-Aunt for lending me this book/series back in November after the unexpected passing of My Father.

Another Phenomenal Book in this series by Julie!!

The Characters are still so interesting to read about. I loved how some new characters were introduced, i think it made this book that much more enjoyable.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1820's Whiltshire England.

Overall a Phenomenal Historical Fiction Book in this series about Family, Friends and Love helping 2 woman deal with loved one's losses over the course of 2 years!!

Can't wait to read Book 3!!

Review for The Last Letter by Kathleen Shoop

 Rating: 5 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to Books Forward for sending me a FREE Audio Arc Copy earlier this month to review for them!!

This was my first time reading a book by Kathleen so i wasnt sure what to expect but MAN, i did not expect that emotional rollercoaster.

The Characters were so interesting to read about. I felt bad for Katherine's Mom tho i could see why Katherine was the way she was toward Yale, cause Yale should of told Katherine about the letter before she did.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like i was actually in 1800s Iowa while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenal Historical Fiction Book that i will definately read more of by Kathleen in the future!!

Review for The Innkeeper of Ivy Hill (Tales of Ivy Hill #1) by Julie Klassen

 Rating: 5 Stars!!

Thank you to my Great-Aunt for loaning me this Book/Series back in November after the unexpected passing of my father.

The Characters were interesting to read about. At first i wasnt a fan of Thora but as the book continued and she mellowed out i started to like Thora a little more and by the end she became my favorite character.

The Setting was beautifully described which made it easy to picture the scenery mentioned and made me feel like i was actually in 1820s Whiltshire England which reading.

Overall a Phenomenal Historical Fiction Book about 2 woman who over come a loved one's loss with the help from family, friends, love and hope over the course of a year.

Can't wait to read more by Julie in the future!!

Review for The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

 Rating: 4 Stars!!
Review:
Thank you to William Morrow Publishing for sending me this FREE ARC Copy to review for them from a giveaway they posted earlier this month!!

This was my first time reading a book by Lucy so i wasnt sure what to expect since her other books got such mixed reviews and ratings.

The Characters were so diverse and interesting to read about which i think is why i loved the first half of this book so much.

The Setting was so beautifully described about Paris France which is another reason why i think i enjoyed this book so much.

The Storyline kept me intrigued til the middle part of the book then i felt like Lucy lost momentum while writing cause not much was really happening about Jess's missing brother Ben which made me lose a little bit of interest.

Overall an OK Mystery, but ive read better to be honest, cause she could of kept more of the mystery a mystery til the last few chapters cause i felt like she let the mystery out way too soon!!

I will read more of her books in the future but i just hope all her books arent like this one!!

Review for Plum Lovin' by Jane Evanovich (Stephanie Plum #12.5)

 Rating: 1 Star!!
Review:
First off im being generous by rating it 1 Star since i liked the consept that the Author TRIED to make it clear with this book and also because this was my first time reading a book by this author since i realize i should of started Book 1 of this series so with that being said. . .

The Characters dialogue seemed like they were trying too hard to be funny since this didnt come across as a funny Mystery Book.

The Setting was ok but would of liked more descriptiveness about the town and state this book was set in.

Also, I feel like the wrong Genre was listed for this book as there was more Romance and Comedy over Mystery.

Overall not the best Mystery ive read and probably wont read another book by this author!!

Review for Booking the Crook (Bookmobile Cat Mystery #7) by Laurie Cass

 Rating: 5 Stars
Review:
This was my first time reading a Cozy Mystery by this author so i wasnt sure what to expect since i picked this one up for 2 Readathons because of the cover.

The Characters were so interesting and funny to read about especially Aunt Frances and Cousin Celeste.

The Setting was beautifully described which was easy to picture Chilson Michigan's scenery while reading.

Overall a good Cozy Mystery Book!! Can't wait to read more in this series by Laurie in the future!!
