Review for Secrets of A Charmed Life by Susan Meissner

 Rating: 5 Stars

Review:

This was my first time reading a Historical Fiction Novel by Susan so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say I really enjoyed it. Reminded me alot of PBS's Downton Abbey meets Victoria and Albert.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Kendra, Emmy and Julia were definately my favorites. Loved learning about their backgrounds and connections to each other.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in 2015 Cotswold England and 1940s London England especially when the scenery was described.

I do wish this was part of a series to learn more about the future of these characters.

Overall a Phenomenal Historical Fiction Novel!! Can't wait to read more by Susan in the future!!

This was my first time reading a Contemporary Novel by Pamela so I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say I really enjoyed this one more then I thought I would.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Paula, Wynn and David were definately my favorites.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was in Nantucket while reading, especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Contemporary Novel about a Hotel on Nantucket. Can't wait to read more by Pamela in the future!!

Review for Murder Makes Waves by Anne George

 Rating: 5 Stars

Review:

This was my first time reading a Cozy Mystery by Anne so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say this one had me laughing most of the time πŸ˜† cause it was a hilarious feel good Cozy about two sisters who go on vacation in Florida but end up solving a murder in the process.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Patricia Anne was definately my favorite because of her comical responses and murder solving skills.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in Destin Florida while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Book 4 in this Cozy Mystery Series. Can't wait to read Books 1-3 very soon!!

Review for Sister of the Bride by Susan Mallery

 Rating: 5 Stars!!

Review:

This was only the 3rd Contemporary Romance I've read by Susan so I kind of knew what to expect but I have to say I wish this book had been longer only because I felt it ended too quickly.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Katie was def my favorite. Didn't care for her mom much she came off as pushy.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Contemporary Romance. Can't wait to read more by Susan in the future!!

Review for The Girl From The Hidden Forest by Hannah Linder

 Rating: 5 Stars!!

Review:

Thank you to Barbour Publishing's Review Crew for sending me this FREE Copy to promote and review for them as part of their Review Crew last month.

Even tho this was only The 2nd Book I've read by Hannah, I have to say she's quickly becoming My NEW FAVORITE Historical Romance Author especially when this book reminded me so much of Bridgerton meets The Little Mermaid and Pocahontas but with The Captains Storylines.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Eliza was definitely my favorite especially when I felt for her and how everyone wanted her to remember something but she couldn't.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in Wentworth Northumberland while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Phenomenally Enjoyable Historical Romance!! Can't wait to read more by Hannah in the future!!

Review:

Thank you to Books Forward for sending me this FREE E-Arc to promote and review for ES as part of their Book Tour this week.

This was my first time reading a Book let alone in a series by ES so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say I throughly enjoyed this one which I wasnt sure if I would considering it was written during COVID19.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Cyn was definitely my favorite. The determination they had to find out why this was happening was so good to see.

The Setting was wonderfully described which made me feel like I was in 2020 again.

Overall a Good Book 1 in this Apocalyptic Distopian Series about Covid19 Pandemic. Can't wait to read more by ES in the future.

Review for Public Secrets by Nora Roberts

 Rating: 2.5 Stars!!

Review:

For the most part I liked this book until Chapter 4 then I felt it got away from the storyline which is why I could only give it 2 Stars.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Beverly, Brian and Emma were my favorites. I loved how they all cared for each other especially after everything Emma went through for the first 3 years of her life.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in England while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall an OK Mystery Novel but could of been better. I will read more by Nora in the future but I hope her other Mystery Books arent like this one was.

Review for Reboot by Justin Taylor

 Rating: 2.5 Stars!!

Review:

Thank you to Pantheon Books for picking me to win this FREE ARC Copy as part of a giveaway on their website earlier this year.

This was my first time reading a YA novel by Justin Taylor so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say that sadly this book was just OK for me. I was hoping to like it more than I did but Part 1 was just too descriptive and too long for me with very little happening.

I thought this book was going to be like The OC meets Laguna Beach and Beverly Hills 90210 but sadly I was mistaken.

The Characters were OK but could of been better since I couldn't stand the complaining that the Main characters did through Part 1.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in California, New York, and Florida while reading especially when the scenery was described which was just about the only thing I loved about this book.

Overall it could of been so much better. I will read more by Justin in the future but I hope his other books arent like this one was.

Review for The Seafarers Secret by Carol Ann Collins

 Rating: 5 Stars!!

Review:

Thank you to Beaufort Books for sending me this FREE ARC Copy to promote and review for them as part of their Review Crew last year.

This was my first time reading a Mystery Thriller by Carol so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say I really enjoyed this one. It wasn't predictable at all. Lots of twists and turns as well as edge of your seat "Oh no " Moments.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. It was hard to pick my favorite since I seemed to like all of the Characters except for the customer at the diner didn't care for his Know It All attitude.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in Eden North Carolina while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a good Mystery Thriller about a Murderer who puts the Sam coin in his victims pockets.

I do wish this was part of a series because i'd LOVE to see what case the Detective would work on next.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a Good Contemporary Romance!! Can't wait to read more by Janice in the future.

Review for In Tune With Love by Amy Matayo

 Rating: 5 Stars!!

Review:

This was My First Time Reading a Contemporary Romance Novel by Amy so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say I really enjoyed this one.

This one was about a Woman who is forced to help plan her sister’s upcoming wedding as well as sing at the ceremony alongside her Ex-Fiance Jack.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. At first I didn't care for April thought she came off as whiny but after a few chapters she did mellow out.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

In some ways this book reminded me of Hallmark Channels Destination Wedding.

Overall a Phenomenal Contemporary Romance Novel!! Can't wait to read more by Amy in the future.

Review for All Dressed Up in Love by Ruth Logan Herne

This was my first time reading a Contemporary Romance Novel by Ruth so I wasnt sure what to expect but I have to say I really enjoyed this one about an up and coming lawyer who works part time at a Bridal Shop in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Tara and Greg were definately my favorites. I especially loved their friendship and life based on God, something that needs to be in more Romance Novels.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in Northeastern Pennsylvania while reading especially when the scenery was described.

***TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR VIOLENCE ADDICTION GRIEF***

Rating: 5 Stars!!

Review:

Thank you to Books Forward for sending me this FREE EBOOK to promote and review for Holly as part of their Book Tour this week.

This was my first time reading a novel by Holly so I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say I really enjoyed this one mainly because I could relate to especially with The Grief since Losing My Dad.

The Characters were fun and enjoyable to read about. Kade was definitely my favorite especially since I felt for since she couldn't seem to catch a break since everytime she turned around something bad happened.

The Setting was beautifully described which made me feel like I was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described.

Overall a wonderfully written Literary Novel about going through hard times. Can't wait to read more by Holly in the future!!

Review for There is a Door in This Darkness by Kristin Cashore

Rating: 2.5 Stars!!

Review:

Thank you to Penguin Random House for picking me to win this FREE ARC Copy in a giveaway on their website last year.

Honestly I don't know what to say about this book because for me it wasn't a great read for many reasons πŸ˜•.

The Characters and Setting were fun and enjoyable to read. Wilhelmina Frankie and Margaret were definately my favorites especially with the witty banter between them.

The Storyline was okay but could of been better since it seemed super repetitive like the author didn't know what else to write about especially when she kept bringing up about the 2016 Election.

Overall it was OK but could of had so much potential.  I will read more by Kristin in the future but I hope here other books won't be like this one was.

Thank you to Books Forward for sending me this FREE ARC COPY of Book 1 in this Contemporary Fiction Series by Anne Shaw Heinrich to promote and review for her as part of The Book Tour this week.

This was My First time reading a Contemporary Novel by Anne so i wasnt sure what to expect but i have to say i really enjoyed this one even tho there was MANY Sad Parts to it.

The Story starts off with Mary, A Woman who helps out a Young Teen, Pearl who ends up pregnant through Rape from The Pastor's Son James. As the story continues we learn how each Character goes from Faith in God to Finding Forgiveness and Redeaming themselves as they endure pain even tho God helps them through it all.

The Characters were enjoyable and interesting to read about. Mary and Elizabeth were definately my favorites. Pearl was OK but i didnt always like how she treated Mary who was trying her best to raise Pearl and by the time Pearl treated Mary right, i felt it was too late.

The Setting was beauitfully described which made me feel like i was actually in the book while reading especially when the scenery was described BUT I wish Anne was more descriptive about WHERE The Book was set because i kept going back to see what town and state each chapter was set in.

Overall a Good Book 1 in this Contemporary Series about Women of Paradise County. Can't wait to read Book 2 soon!!
